
The Surrey Improvement Partnership is part of Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE). The partnership is designed to bring together all of the local authorities in Surrey to deliver a series of projects intended to bring real improvements and enhanced efficiencies in local government services throughout the County.

Low Carbon Solutions for Surrey Taken Forward
The Tackling Climate Change Together team are currently developing a Surrey Sustainable Action Plan, to take forward the shared commitment to reduce carbon emissions as set out in the Surrey Climate Change Strategy. This action plan will be based on the results of research and evidence, particularly recent work undertaken by Carbon Descent to model various carbon reduction scenarios. Ultimately, Surrey´s ambition is to become one of the lowest carbon areas in the UK (as identified in the Surrey Strategic Partnership Plan 2010).

County-wide Highway Analysis Underway
The Surrey Infrastructure Capacity Project is now taking a strategic look at the total impact of proposed development across the whole of Surrey on its highways. This analysis will be vital in highlighting and developing future transport infrastructure requirements.

Health and Wellbeing Information Now Available Via SURREYi
SURREYi is a partnership project being supported by SIP funding, to create and maintain a single portal and data observatory for Surrey. The SURREYi portal now has a wealth of information on health and wellbeing available, as the results of the latest Joint Strategic Needs Assessment undertaken by Surrey County Council and NHS Surrey have been added.
