The Forum acts as a consultative body to the project; it both informs and challenges its direction. Through the SIF, Surrey Authorities will be able to engage with the broad spectrum of stakeholders in the county ands beyond with an interest in the project. The Forum has met twice in February and October 2009. The inaugural meeting on 4 February 2009 at the HG Wells Conference Centre in Woking and was attended by over 125 delegates, with the second Forum held on 22 October, again in Woking, attended by around 120 delegates.
