Background
The Surrey Improvement Partnership is funded by Improvement and Efficiency South East. It sits under the guidance and management of the Surrey Local Government Association. There is a Surrey Improvement Partnership Board, consisting of key officers and members from across Surrey, and a Programme Manager. The partnership works towards key priorities such as the need to improve engagement at a neighbourhood level, to improve service delivery and value for money and to develop organisational capacity with an emphasis placed on partnership working.
Following the successful completion of eight projects in the first round, the Surrey Improvement Partnership has been able to define and continue work on a number of further distinct projects - please see individual project webpages for more information. Projects relating to garden waste back office processing and strategic leadership at Surrey County Council are also being progressed under the remit of the Surrey Improvement Partnership.
