SurreyTogether 2

Surreytogether 2 built on the success of the previous SIP Surreytogether project, in fostering closer working relationships between key leaders across Surrey through a series of facilitated events. It is hoped that the development of stronger links and connections will support the delivery of the Surrey Local Area Agreement and other key priorities. The events brought together County Council and District Council Chief Executives and Councillors, in addition to those at high levels within partner groups such as the Primary Care Trust, the police, universities and the voluntary sector. The emphasis was on leadership and its impact on community vitality.

The final Surreytogether event took place on 23rd November 2009. The results of the Surreytogether programme will now be analysed and taken forward, to ensure that those involved continue to come together in the spirit of collaboration and joint working.
